Music Monday!

Hey Everyone! :)

Hope you guys are having a good morning! For today, I'm going to be showing you guys a song that has literally been on repeat for the past week! I was so excited to go to Justin Timberlake's summer concert, but I didn't get tickets :( So in the meantime, I've just been torturing myself by listening to his music LOL.

I LOVE this song, and I love JT! Hope you guys have a good day!

Review-Hourglass Foundation!

Hey Everyone! :)

Since I hadn't posted anything since Thursday, I thought I would do two posts today to make up for it! So right now, I'm going to be doing a review on the Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation.
Now, I bought this foundation when I visited the US, specifically New York. I went last May and I was looking for a foundation that I could use for prom. I wasn't knowledgeable about make-up, or anything at the time, but I knew that Sephora was great for make-up, so I went in and started looking around. A guy ended up helping me, and I basically asked him to help me to find a foundation that was good for oily skin and stayed on for a long period of time. He recommended this foundation, because he said it was great for oily skin and that it was a two-in-one foundation, since it was a liquid/powder one.

I used this on the day of my prom, and I thought it was okay, like my pictures came out nicely and it stayed on throughout the night. After prom, I kind of put it in my cupboard and didn't think about it again. I thought that since I bought it for prom, I couldn't use it anywhere else, because it would be too heavy!

A few months ago, my mom reminded me about this foundation and kind of admonished me, because I spent $50.00 on it and only used it once :p. So I pulled it out for a a big family dinner, and was so impressed with the results.

Pros:

This foundation is amazing because it's mattifying, so it keeps my face shine-free all day, it is easy to apply and it looks really good in pictures. This foundation doesn't require a foundation brush or anything, so depending on what kind of coverage I want, I squeeze 1-2 pumps out on my hand and apply it on my face using my fingers. I then blend it out on my face, and on my neckline and then go to my concealer. The best thing about this foundation is that I don't need to set it with a setting powder. It starts out liquid and kind of feels powdery once you start putting it on your face, so it has both elements in it! My face literally stays matte all day, and although my skin has tons of blemishes on it, it looks smooth, and blemish-free in pictures! This is slowly becoming a favourite, and I've been using this and the Revlon Colorstay!

Con:

There isn't a list of cons with this foundation. The only thing that I don't like about it, is that the colour is really weird when you're first applying it. My shade is beige, but when I smooth it on to my cheeks, it kind of looks like mud which is really odd to me. However, it then goes to match my skin colour when I blend it in!

That is going to be it for my review on this foundation! I really love it and I would recommend it to you guys if you have oily skin! It is pricier than normal foundations, but I think it's worth it, because of how little time you need to apply it, and how long it lasts! I'm thinking of buying the Revlon BB Cream and doing a review on it, so please let me know if you would like me to do that! :)
Other than that, I'll see you guys tomorrow with a new post, I hope you have a great day!
xoxo.

Gym Essentials!

Hey Everyone! :)

Happy Sunday! I'm so, so sorry for not posting anything since Thursday! I was planning on doing a post, but this weekend ended up really weird. Whenever I had the time to write a new post, I felt lazy and when I wanted to write a post, I became busy! Anyways, I'm sorry and I'm going to make sure that I get back to doing a post every day! Normally, I wake up and do a post, but I think I'm going to try to do posts the night before so I don't feel rushed in the morning! Enough of me rambling, I will start the post now! :p

My gym bag is actually just a tote that I got from Garage when I did some online shopping. The size is great and it holds everything I need perfectly.

My clothes are from Aeropostale and Winners (which is like Marshalls in the US). I used to wear sweatpants and a t-shirt when I exercised, because I thought buying gym clothes was unnecessary, but I feel like its really important! Not only is the material way better for when you're working out, but I feel good when I wear these clothes, so I feel better about myself and feel more motivated! The jacket is also really cute because it has a pop of colour, and I like how there are panels on the jacket, it gives a slimming effect.

Other than clothing and running shoes, I like to bring a water bottle, face wipes, a headband, a ponytail, a lip-balm, body spray and deodorant. I take water to stay hydrated, obviously and I forgot to take a picture, but I also pack some almonds and a granola bar in case I need a boost of energy. I love the Pond's face wipes! I usually use a wipe to clean my face before I work-out, just to get rid of any make-up. When I'm working out, I usually tie my hair-up in a pony-tail and I like to use a headband, just because it keeps everything out of my face! The baby-lips is in my bag because my lips are always chapped, especially in the winter and I think it's nice to have a tinted lip moisturizer with you! The scent that I'm currently using is from PINK and it smells amazing! It's a little large to take in my bag, but I really like the smell of this and its lighter than spraying myself with perfume after a workout! Last but not least, I have deodorant, and I don't have much to say about this except that it works well! I also like how it doesn't have a specific scent to it, I really don't like deodorants that smell like vanilla, or strawberries or something because I don't like the idea of mixing food with sweat. I think that's just gross LOL.

That's it for my gym essentials! I hope you guys enjoyed this post! In terms of posts that are coming  up, I'm working on a Spring Haul, Product's that I Regret Buying and more OOTD's. Please comment below if you have any requests, or if you just want to say 'Hi'! :) Hope you guys have a great day!

Arm Candy!

Hey Everyone!

I don't actually have an OOTD today, surprise surprise! Haha, I'm actually heading home after my first class, which is in 2 hours and I look pretty bad, so I didn't want to do a post on what I'm wearing today. One day, I realized that in my OOTD posts, I never show you guys my 'everyday arm candy'. It's always on my arm and putting the bracelets on in the morning is like second nature, so I never really consciously thought about including it in my posts! So I thought I would show you them today! :)

By the way, there's a story behind most of these bracelets, and I thought it would be cool to share them with you! I'm sorry if you don't like reading too much, haha!

1. Monogrammed Bracelet from Florida

I bought this bracelet when I went on vacation to Disney World, in Orlando, Florida! I went when I was 17, and to be honest I thought I wouldn't have that much fun because I thought I was too old. Guys, I was so wrong. Disney World is literally the happiest place on earth, and I'm such a little kid at heart as well so I ended up having the BEST TIME EVER. I don't think anything will ever compare to this vacation! I bought this in Animal Kingdom, and I've seen these bracelets in a lot of places, but I love how this one is in my favourite colour, and it has the heart and says 'LOVE' on the back.

2. Dog/Wolf Bracelet from Algonquin Park

I bought this bracelet when I went on a family vacation to Muskoka. For those of you who don't know what Muskoka is, it's like cottage country in Canada, and its the most beautiful place ever. There's loads of greenery and wildlife and the hotels and cottages are in such great areas! I went last summer, and it's funny because my dad only booked the hotel for one night, so we were supposed to arrive on Friday afternoon, and leave Saturday evening. However, we ended up having so much fun in that one day, that my dad extended our trip for two whole days! So, Algonquin Park is this huge national park near Muskoka and my parents really wanted to go to it. Of course, it was raining like crazy that day, but my dad insisted we went anyway. We spent a little time outside and then proceeded to get soaked, so we ran into a nearby gift shop/restaurant. My mom spotted this bracelet and she bought it for me as a surprise! I was actually going to move away from home a few days from then, so this bracelet is special to me, because it reminds me of my mom and how lucky I am to have her!

By the way, if you can figure out what animal that is, please let me know :P

3. Bracelet from H&M

This is going to sound really silly, since I spent so long telling you guys the story behind the first two bracelets, but I don't have a story with this. My sister went shopping and bought it because she thought I would like it. When I was wearing my 'arm candy' I felt like something was missing, so I added this, for a little colour and because I thought the charms on this were really cute!

4. 'Pandora Bracelet'

I got this as a gift from a really close friend. It is not a real Pandora bracelet, but it looks so much like the real ones, and it hasn't tarnished or anything! Now, this has a really long story behind it, involving a really flamboyant guy that I met at 'Lush' and it would take me a while to write down and I would totally be rambing. If you guys would really like to know, then comment and I'll finish this story :)

That's it for my daily arm candy! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, I know it was really random!
Anyways, hope you guys have a really good day!

OOTD-March 4, 2013

Hey Everyone!
I hope you guys are having a good morning :) Today I have yet another OOTD as I've been really busy! Come Thursday, or Friday, I'm thinking of doing a spring outfit inspiration post! Please let me know if you liked this post in the comments, or if you have any requests! :) Today's outfit is a really polished, put-together outfit, and I like it because not only does it look really cute, but it's also incredibly comfortable. I have a business presentation today, and instead of dressing in a dress-shirt and pants, I wanted to put a spin on 'business casual'.

This is something that you could wear to work, if you are allowed to have outfits that can be a little more on the casual side, it could also be worn to an interview!

I love the lace shirt that I'm featuring in this OOTD, because it can be dressed up, with a blazer like I did, or dressed down with a pair of blue jeans and sandals. This shirt is a really versatile piece in my wardrobe. Also, I'm sorry if you don't like black jeans, I know I wear them A LOT, but it's a staple in my wardrobe!

Burnt Orange Shirt: American Eagle Outfitters, On Sale for $21.00
Blazer: H&M, $35.00
Necklace: Aldo, $12.00
Flats: American Eagle (Payless), $30.00
Jeggings: Garage, $25.00
Purse: Gift from Aldo

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! And I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

of fashion, then please comment below and I'll definitely try to fulfill any requests :)
I've actually been really excited about trying the new L'Oréal Wild Ombre Hair Colour! I want to ombre my hair, but it's so expensive and I'm not sure if I'll like it, so I think this is a good idea! I'm going to try it this weekend, and I've seen a lot of videos on how to do it, and reviews and they've been really good. If you guys would like me to do a how-to/review post, then let me know!

OOTD!-March 4, 2013

Hi Everyone!:)

I hope you all are having a good morning! I'm actually still at home, and I'm going back to uni in a few hours, so I thought I would show you what I'm wearing. Today's Monday, and I'm feeling really tired and lazy :P My little sister came into my room and told me to wear something else (than what I'm about to show you), because she's tired of seeing me in that sweater. Honestly though, I love it and ain't nobody got the time fo changing :p Anyways, this is a really casual outfit, and it's basically the kind of thing that I wear at Uni throughout the week!

I really like this hoodie, because the material is really thick and comfy. Also, the pattern on the hoodie is so cute, it reminds me on a confetti cupcake! This might sound weird  but I also love the buttons on this, they're so different because of how they're white metal, with grey writing on top. I didn't show you guys a purse or anything, because I'm going to be wearing a backpack and I'm pretty sure you don't want to see a huge, thing that weighs like 10 kg.

Hoodie: American Eagle Outfitters-$30.00
Purple Tank: Garage-$10.00
Jeans: Garage-$15.00
Necklace: Claire's-$12.00
Watch: Gift from Aldo (My sister told me that it costs $35.00, in case you wanted to know!)
Shoes: Converse-$50.00

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, I know it wasn't the most exciting outfit, but it's what I'm wearing today! I would love it if you commented letting me know how you liked this!
